Tegan Wallace and Chad Lindhorst  and all of ther people attending their wedding at the Washington Park Arboretum Meadow in October. Afterwards everyone headed over to  Blue Ribbon Cooking, for the reception. It was a great day and it did not rain until well after the reception was underway which was a good thing because they did not have a backup plan for the ceremony at the Arboretum. Ann Krembs and Mark Casey had a DeLille Cellars Wedding, in Woodenville last summer.  DeLILLE CELLARS  is one of my favorite place for an outdoor wedding and one of the reasons is this pond which reflects very nicely when people stand alongside it. This is what we did right after Ann and Mark’s wedding ceremony. Other features of the grounds there are the sheep grazing in the field behind the people above.

After the ceremony of Denise Lee and Yong Yeh’s wedding in August, we all assembled on the front steps of San Francisco City Hall which turned out to be a great place for the wedding panoramic portrait. This is a somewhat cropped version, in the actual print there is a little more on either side of this picture.These steps could hold a lot more than the 300+ or so people here it looks like.  It is one of my new favorite panoramas.

Craig Chapman and Margaret Roller were married on the dock at the Lake Union Crew Boathouse Sept 19th on a beautiful afternoon and after the ceremony their friends and family joined them on the deck for their wedding panorama large group portrait.

I love this view of Times Square from the air. Later on I will publish a panorama I made at ground level in Times Square. Other pictures were taken in Seattle, Paris and Prague. Today is the first day of June and the opening of an exhibition of a dozen panoramic urban landscapes at SRG Gallery in Seattle. I will publish some of them here over the course of the exhibition which will be up until the end of July. This first one was taken in New York City this past January.

Mary Bright and Michael Ferrante were married at St. Joseph’s Church in Issaquah on April 10th. It was a beautiful day for a northwest spring weekend wedding. Here is the Wedding Panorama.

Queen Anne Hill in Seattle has a wonderful vista in the evening light. Had a recent request for a skyline of Seattle panorama and found this one on file from a couple of years ago. It was after the hour when you can still see a clear glimpse of Mt Rainier in the distance but I still like the balance of architecture and Space Needle to the right. If you look very closely though Mt. Rainier can be seen faintly behind the buildings in the center of the panorama. Recently I have been getting asked if I have ever photographed an Indian wedding before and so I though I would post a few of the photographs from Eshwar and Nafisa’ wedding here. They were married back in 2004 and they flew me over to Bangalore, India to cover their celebration I had photographed a few Indian weddings before but this was my first real Indian wedding to photograph in India. it was awesome. There were festivities to cover for more than 4 days. And when I was not photographing the festivities, I went out on the streets of Bangalore to witness and photograph the life of that great city. It was an unforgetable trip.

I was still shooting film back then for weddings and shot more than 75 rolls of the wedidng, perhaps 65% in black and white and the rest in color. The candid black and white wedding photograph at the top of this page was made with with the panorama camera and Eshwar and Nifisa were very pleased with this picture. The middle panorama wedding picture was also made with the same large format camera and is a large group portrait of the extended family of the bride and groom. The bottom picture is also a large group wedding portrait of everyone attending the Moslem ceremony in Seattle where they had their second wedding ceremony at Benaroya Hall.
